Hatha:
A traditional style of yoga that focuses on balancing the body and mind through physical postures (asanas), breath control (pranayama), and meditation. Each class typically involves a slower-paced sequence, allowing you to deepen your connection with your body and align your energy. Practicing Hatha Yoga can improve flexibility, strength, and posture while promoting mental clarity and relaxation.
Yin:
A deeply restorative practice that involves holding passive postures for several minutes to target the deeper connective tissues, joints, and fascia. This slow-paced style encourages mindfulness and stillness, helping you release tension and restore balance. Yin Yoga promotes improved flexibility, joint health, and circulation while calming the nervous system, making it an excellent practice for stress relief and overall relaxation.
Ball Therapy:
A ball therapy yoga class can be taught privately to help someone reduce or eliminate pain (back pain, sore neck headaches, knee and shoulder pain can all be helped with ball therapy.) Ball therapy helps muscle function and after rolling gently over a muscle group you should be able to feel an immediate difference
Kundalini:
A style of yoga that usually encompasses movement, breath and meditation in each class - gives you plenty to focus on so that you can connect deeper with yourself and your body.
Yoga Nidra:
Doing Yoga Nidra allows the practicer to learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where your body finds a natural state of equilibrium. breath becomes quiet and balanced. Practicing Yoga Nidra can reduce stress and anxiety, and help manage PTSD, improve sleep and memory, and if practiced regularly promote the bodies ability to naturally start to heal.
SUP Yoga: (Local Only)
Combines traditional yoga with paddleboarding, enhancing balance, flexibility, and core strength. Practicing on the water adds mindfulness and tranquility, offering a full-body workout while connecting with nature.
